*These movies should be watched by anyone thinking AI is a good thing. *There are several others but those movies should make you dread what is coming down the pike. Hollywood warns you every time.
he must not have hands because you're right that he could be a great athlete in the NFL with a long career if he would just accept that QB is not in the cardsMilroe should come back to college and learn a new position. Freak athlete. Not an NFL QB. But teams have proven to be dumb enough to draft on potential, founded on their own hubris of “fixing it”
It's a good point but it doesn't feel like it's going to happen with Matthews. I'd love to be wrong. We are going after the best WRs we can obtain in the portal, it is said. In this circumstance it is not unusual for a player to enter the portal while the window is still open, both to keep their options open and to seek pay here similar to, or at least in some way proportional to, what the transfers command.
I’ve been hesitant to mention this for the last two weeks during the meltdown, because it’s not my favorite subject; but this Matthews situation has happened before. Baron entered the portal when we were going after Verse, and then came back and had a great year. Wright (one of my favorites) did the same thing when we were seeking a RB. It doesn’t mean the sky is falling. It doesn’t even mean they will decide to leave. It doesn’t mean they won’t “ball out” if they return. We may be one of the only teams so far iirc that hasn’t lost someone who we were not “portalling” over. It didn’t destroy the BaseVols to lose Burns.
Agreed. There is a difference between being a 'nega vol' and realistic evaluation. Clearly, we are seeing some issues. Those first half performances where we scored zero points should be a 'wake up' call that adjustments, and maybe staff changes, are required. Do not just roll back what we saw this last season. As for Nico, I expected much more though he did look better towards the end of the season. Second year in the program and he struggled that much (being a highly touted QB)? And, losing our DC for a lateral move to Clemson? That would be quite puzzling. I do believe we continue to be a program on the rise while Clemson has taken a step back (partly due to our rise). He's still fighting?
Honestly, I think 2024-2025 has been a black eye for Huepel. As much as I try to not bring his name up. Perceived mismanagement of his roster, coaches, and letting his DC get plucked from under his nose. Bad looks.
I'm all for being easy going, but ocassionaly you gotta stiffen up.
