No doubt it does. He was the big reason we even sniffed the playoffs.

Of course we could just start over as 2021 all over again, but then we likely have a 3 year clawback. I'd rather just keep beating Bama, UF, and making the playoffs. Naww, that'd be too rewarding 😏😅

Makes perfect, logical sense.

But yet folks rag on players that do it and have a far greater risk factor lol.

That said, I hope he sees the long term benefit of sticking with Hype...we also need to pay him top money for his top work.

I'd put jancek above as far as DC goes. He didn't have as much talent to work with and still used scheme to overcome and have success.

With our DL, it would be impossible for any DC to look bad. But I didn't see a lot of creativity and out scheming our opponents this year. He simply had better players at the most important position. Doesn't make him a bad DC, but to say he's the best simply because the results were the best isn't digging far enough into the issue.

I'm now questioning how much you ever watched the offense 😉

It's always been simple, that's why it works. Simplicity is one of the 5 tenets of elite college football offenses.

The ability to plug-and-play is critical when players are constantly changing teams...at best are around 3-4 years, have class and a million other obligations, and are rarely a professional student of the game like a pro would be.

The only other route is elite talent everywhere. Since we can't get there, having a do more with less scheme is the optimal route. And here we are averaging 10 wins a season. We were literally the only playoff team with a freshman QB 😅🤣
