They can but if they tip it through the uprights it counts. Also if the ball deflects off an official inbounds and goes through then it also counts.I've always wondered if a receiving team/defense player can jump up under the crossbar to block a kick from barely going through at the last instant. I'm assuming so? Just like blocking it at the LOS?
Wow right after we talked about it, Minnesota player almost did it.
