I live here just outside of Lebanon and trout fished regularly for years going to either tributaries off of Center Hill lake or going up to Dale Hollow. Just found out a week or so ago that a bunch were released right here in Town Creek either in late November or early December and they plan to release some more either late January or early February.Both. I'd go a River Runs Through It first. One of my favorite movies and favorite books. But Legends of the Fall is incredible. The better Pitt performance.
I got the blessing of fishing twice during the COVID years in Montana. Best fishing of my life. We were pulling in 20+ inch Rainbow and Brown trout. So fun and a gorgeous part of the country.
lol yes! I liked Sheffer back then. He had a bit of a run there in the early 90s but never could quite grab onto any staying power as a leading man.Solid.
Speaking of Craig Sheffer. . . anyone ever seen "Night Breed"?![]()
That looks similar to a hellgrammite. I use a soft plastic Nikko hellgrammite lure when I kayak fish. Fish love them. I us a 1/16oz jig heat. Just cast them into the current and let them float and fall. Rock bass can't resist them.@Jackcrevol thought you might like these hellgrammites I tied up yesterday. Getting ready for those prespawn smallies on fly. Nothing better! This fly is like cheating and a super fun tie.View attachment 711777
Random memory from many, many, years ago. King Solomon Mines with Stewart Granger and Deborah Kerr from 1950? a porter bearer pulls a sewing needle and thread from a box in his ear lobeI just remember that in "A River Runs Through It" there was a close-up shot of Craig Sheffer in profile and you could see his earring hole in his earlobe, which was a bit anachronistic.
How's that for a random memory?
