Some of that was a money play for more money I would assume. Also I think some of it was he thought he could get a HC job as well. Not alot of HC openings this cycle tho.

First of all, I've never heard that anywhere. Please post a source if you have one.

Secondly, his contract was intentionally not extended last year. Why would he sign an extension mid-year (which would be unusual) while he's coaching statistically the best defense we've fielded since our 1998 national championship year and we were likely going to earn a CFP spot? That would be stupid.

Where was the complaining of the coaching specifically?? I just made a obvious statement.. don't like it? Don't get on a message board🤷‍♂️🙄🙄🙄 anyone that watched the game especially the 1st half would agree the press didn't work and gave OU 20-25 easy points. The 2nd half it gave them several more easy buckets and open 3s due to lack of rotation or just being to slow getting back from said press. But yea go off 🙄

But if they stop pressing they lose the entire style of play they spent all offseason working to learn. Ya also lose the fatigue factor that allowed them to get back in the game after going down by 19.

But go off.
