I don't think Rick has ever been big on giving guys green lights offensively if it is going to potentially create deficiencies defensively. Even if it ends up being a net positive.Honestly need to shorten practices in these cases but I know Barnes won't do that.
If Dubar was serviceable and giving us 10pts a game OR a 3&D guy who could lock down an opponent like Mashack we'd be even better AND it would save some lungs. Dubar has great length but footwork and situational intelligence seem to be lacking to be a good defender.
He was supposed to be a great shooter too but never shoots
The only player he's had at Tennessee who he's remotely made an exception for was DK.
