Anyone else hear ppl say "the Patriots were a laughing stock before Bill and Tom"?

I kinda blindly accepted that fact, but would be kinda confused when I'd see highlights of the two super bowls they were in before they got there. It's BS I tell you! They had some terrible periods, like the late 60's early 70's. But 1976-1999?

15 winning seasons

9 playoff appearances

4 division titles

2 super bowl appearances

Pats fans have been LYING. 4 of the last 6 years before Bill and Tom got there they went to the dang playoffs and a super bowl.

Now Vrabel will return them to their winning ways....

Pats were an "assumed fixture" in the Super Bowl under Brady and Billy B...... Sure they had decent runs before Bill showed up, but they were usually odds on favorite to be in a Super Bowl year in and out.

Other than lucking into the Belichick/Brady combo for two decades, what makes Kraft great?

They had some great teams with Grogan, Sam Cunningham, Etc. Just never got over the hump. Had Stanley Morgan for a while also.

That is not enough. 3 baskets a game will not change the way the other teams defend him. He needs to be in double digits to make the other team gaurd him. At least try and draw fouls and get to the line.

He won’t be in the double digits, we have 4 guys scoring 10+ a game. Mashack with a finger injury still in basically a cast forcing shots won’t help this team right now.

He was aggressive in the first half last night. The offense got production from Dubar and ZZ in the second half, and he wasn’t needed.

He also only played 21 minutes.

What would be pretty ideal….if Dubar can fine a way to play the 3 spot for stretches. He’s having trouble getting minutes because Felix, Igor & Cade are playing so well as the 4/5s.

If Dubar can produce though he might be a stronger offensive option at the 4 than the other bigs, since Igor is gun shy atm

What a stupid way to end the game Miss State. Throwing up contested 3's in a 1 possession game and not locking down on defense.

That was truly one of the most awful finishes to a potential upset. It's like they went full Phineas Gage and suddenly started heaving total nonsense. Guess they bet the ML on UK

It doesn't matter about Dobar and ZZ. The other team is not guarding Mashack when he is in the game which is basically giving them an extra defender. We are playing 4v5 on offense. He has to be more active on that end.
