Recruiting Football Talk VIII

Brothers and sisters, I am asking that you please take a little time out of your day to think of my daughter's good friend Ellie. She's been friends with her since they were 3 and they are 20 now. Ellie was recently diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma and her PET scan revealed it is already at Stage 4 and has spread to her spine, arm and leg. This young lady has been to my home many times and my daughter has also been to hers. Her family are great people and this is devastating and heartbreaking for all of us. Anything positive you can send will be mightily appreciated. She is at St. Judes, so we know she will get the best care possible. Thank you.
Sorry to hear that. I lost a cousin in the Nashville area to Rhandomyosarcoma several years ago. That is a particularly nasty type of cancer. My cousin had fought it off several times and it just kept coming back.

No. The best timing would have been sometime last year. He might make it back by Nov or Dec, but he won't be 100% in 2025.
If it takes him till November or December to make it back something went horribly wrong with his rehab. Most college athletes can make it back between 6-8 months

Uhh yeah it's insane. And we're talking low 9s, some have reported 8.9 1/4 mile.

STOCK.

Only the Lucid Sapphire may be faster and it comes with over 1,200 HP and 1,400 lb-ft torque, right off the assembly line.
That’s crazy. I remember growing up there was a lot of street racing in my area. Very rural and very little traffic so wasn’t really putting others in danger. Anyway we would all talk about who had the fastest cars. Guys would have like a 72 nova with a 400 small block and we thought it was FAST, then they would go to the track and run an 8.40 1/8th mile 🤣

Things have sure changed

So sorry to hear this.

St. Jude’s is a great place for her. They do miracle work.

🙏

Agree. My wife has been a long-time supporter of theirs and when we started dating I learned a ton and started supporting too. Even though I have guaranteed entry into the Chicago Marathon through work, I'm raising money for St. Jude instead because I believe in their work and it is a good catalyst to fundraise for them.

Praying for Ellie and her family and for your daughter as well @drvenner

NOOOOO. Dammit. I know it says projected back but this feels like an ambitious timeline.

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Thank goodness guys comeback faster these days

We won't have him ready for UGA I don't think ugh

Thank God we have some death. Jalen McMurray is another guy we forget and I thought he was fine.

Just need Jermod back by Bama. DANG IT

Depends on the person, but if he doesn’t have setbacks, I think they will target September 13 against UGA. Amari Rodgers came back in 6 months at Clemson.

Planting your feet, twisting/turning, and tracking the WR has to be a lot harder on the knees than a WR running a route with one cut in it.

That’s just the opinion I’ve made in my head. Trying to play out different scenarios in my head. Lol

You’re probably right though.

Sure seems to be quite a bit of pissing and moaning on this here site lately.

Go buy a new fishing rod, get ready for those crappies to start biting good in March. Enjoy life instead of screaming at the clouds...
I don't have the patience for fishing.
