Recruiting Football Talk VIII

The sort of 80s I can get into.

Just started watching The Tourist (highly recommend - on Netflix) and the opening episode had this gem. Had never heard it, but am obsessed with it now. Pure 80s electro shoegazer synth vibes I enjoy so much from that time period

there's a playlist on spotify called 80s Synth Rock that you may enjoy

on the topic of synth, there are really good playlists on youtube for synthwave if you need to work at warp speed or want to drive fast at night

Found it. Thanks. Wonder if Sirius or Sirius app has something similar too.

Synthwave is great. Love all things synthy.

Picked it up from the movie Drive. Started buying up Moogs and Abletons after that.

I'm not using blue font for my bad sarcasm posts. No amount of people taking them seriously will convince me to do it. Will die on this hill.

I wouldn't know, my XM rarely leaves Yacht Rock Radio 😆

love those spooky synths during Halloween season

You're correct that everything took off after Drive, peaking with Stranger Things, and kind of having a resurgence now after Nightcall at the Paris Closing ceremony

Skirt steak is good if you beat the crap out of it before you cook it. It makes a great swiss steak.
Latin American countries know how to do skirt. When done right, it can be up there with the best steaks you've ever had. But you're right, it's not a plug and play steak, it requires some prep.

Saban is doing well on GameDay. I’m assuming that ESPN will be wanting him to replace Corso.
Eh, he's too monotone. I don't think he has the charisma for TV. I do like his analysis sometimes, but he's not enjoyable to listen to.

It's like when most athletes do commercials. They speak in a monotone. Except Travis Kelce. As much as I can't stand that meat head, he can do amazing lines on commercials, he's a much better actor than the average athlete.
