Utah State and UCLA are easily better than Texas was last year.Bracket should be a cruise to an elite 8. Easiest overall draw I’ve seen as a vol fan ever. Kentucky ain’t making it past round 2 but even if they do, they aren’t that good and hell would freeze before they beat the same team 3 times. Neither second round opponent exactly put fear in me. Houston is by far the best matchup for 1 seeds besides Auburn for us (which was never gonna happen anways) But that’s not how March works always, can’t get caught slipping
If we play UCLA, it will not be an easy out. The team will need to come ready to play (we should win). We make it past them, I seriously think we'll get to the Elite 8 to play whomever.Efficiency ratings.
TX last year:
Offense 31
Defense 30
Utah St:
Offense 17
Defense 149
UCLA:
Offense 35
Defense 17
I've just watched them all. UCLA, better coach, more talent, good big man.Maybe but I find it hard to believe it’s a drastic difference either way.
UCLA is a "Jekyll&Hyde" team. I watched them beat Michigan State at home and then watched them get destroyed in Big Ten Tournament by Maryland. One thing though, Mick Cronin loves defense it should be a battle. That's if UCLA beats Utah State...Efficiency ratings.

I’m assuming, not sure why he would say it randomly and there not be interest.Assuming that’s Ziegler’s brother and we have mutual interest ?
I would prefer us drop fcs games, replace with g of 5 team, and scrimmage an instate fcs program, maybe have combined practices a few times as well. Would make spring seem more entertainingDeion Sanders proposed the idea of teams practice a couple of practices during the spring against someone else and then playing that team in some form for a spring game.
If that were to ever come true, who would you all like to see UT scrimmage? I would think many schools would stick to a FCS team.
