If you commit, and give your standard 4 years, and graduate a Vol, what else is required? Nobody expects more than that of any commit. In fact, that's well beyond what 60% will ever achieve at the school they commit to.

It all depends on if you want to be one or not. If you leave on your own because you're disenchanted or out for more money, then you're a Vol for x years and not for life because you choose to quit being one.

Having top 8-12 talent, you tend to get the benefit of the doubt, unless you just suck the previous year.

Just looking at the last 5 years, they've finished each season no worse than 18th. 2 top-10 finishes, one top-5.
