Recruiting Football Talk VIII

I think that is more Sampson. He’s not quite built for power running though he can do it. He was getting swallowed on shovel passes. Fortunately we realized that quickly and started feeding him screens. We need a bruiser for some runs though. Sampson is a fantastic back though. I just don’t think we have the TVA out there to send him straight down the opponents throat every play.
we have 2

OSU ended up winning by 46. Slow start or not, they and UGA do that crap all the time. Bama has at times too. Remember Saban and his rants lol. Think it was South Florida that gave them a game last year for 2-3 quarters.

Michigan and Oregon, yeah...ouch. Michigan is legit struggling. Oregon is handling Idaho easily, but not converting to the scoreboard. Going to be some good finishes...
Looks like Michigan went from Stallions to ponies. Amirite?

Bru is without a doubt way more athletic and explosive post-injury than pre-injury. I hope he can stay healthy all year, because you can tell that Nico already trusts him. He will be a Round 2-3 guy if healthy.
It will all depend on what he runs at the combine… I’m cheering for him.

Wow, that's it? I would have thought more like 10.
That would be a LOT of movement off the -4.5 opening spread. Moving 1 point is reasonable, but yeah I expected...still do expect...it to rise to at least 7...maybe more.

We'll see what the sharps do next Fri evening/Sat afternoon.

Basilio’s post game call in show was excellent as always. TB found out from someone that when we brought in Brazzell it lit a fire under Thornton. Moving to his natural spot on the outside helped, but having a guy like Brazzell created healthy competition and the staff could see extra effort and focus from Thornton. Looks like it is paying off already.
