"How long did you backtest your algo or strategy?"

"Backtest? The system I bought didn't mention anything like this."

And good luck getting them to describe their edge, much less quantify it. If you can't describe your edge to a 5th grader on an elevator ride, you probably don't have one.

Or as they say in poker: Look around the table, if you can't identify the sucker, it's you.

Didn't know D was your favorite.

Not that there's anything wrong with that. I feel bad now for saying anything. Edit: SSVol'd

But in all seriousness, then explain this:

They're taking two very specific big hits out of the game, the ones to the head or layout blocks to the blindside. That's it. There are tons of huge, legal hits every week. I don't see why people automatically complain any time the game gets a little safer. Not all safety changes automatically make the game less fun.

Not as good as a @nicksjuzunk breakdown, but a lot of data in this article. Good read. They base a lot on last year's stats - which I think are largely irrelevant for both teams, but I think they have the right read on the game. Good insight on McCall and their run game.

Their business is sports entertainment.
I love you my friend. When you’re on, you’re on. Must be a better day for you. By the way, I agree with what you and Ulysees were commenting about football becoming flag football. As far as military duty and knowing what we signed up for and football players knowing what they did, Yes, we did, but most that sign up in the military are from poor families and are looking for finding a better way of life, plus serving our country. I know you know that, but sometimes I wonder if some on here doesn’t.
