I can guarantee one thing……

UT will not play Georgia in the CFP in round 1. Absolutely 0% chance. No matter what happens next weekend.

Georgia is going to move one way or other in next 2 weeks. After these last games this week and conference championship games there is going to be more movement. We just need to win, there is a chance we could still host. But I agree the odds of us and Georgia matching up 1st round aren’t to high. GBO

What was your expectation going into tonight? We'd jump UGA after beating UTEP?

This is a great jump for us. The only risk/reward that even existed was potentially IU being left ahead of us and that notion was clearly put to bed.

This was good news in case you didn't notice. Even moreso for the weirdos that thought we'd for sure be out with 2 losses just a couple of weeks ago

No expectations...more changes to come.

But if they lost in Atlanta, we could potentially flip spots. Or we could rise even higher and be a 7v10 in Neyland if PSU/ND lose.

Of course I'd rather a fresh game...preferrably non-conference opp...

Texas drop below us and UGA ends up on otherside of the bracket and we get a delicious non-conference opponent in Neyland (certain death) and a delicious ACC/G5 champion in the quarters

It is an invitational governed by a separate board under an llc.

Yeah, UGA either goes to the top4, or they drop a spot or two. So no way we see them unless it's in Knoxville and I don't think that will happen in the end.

aTm winning this weekend and losing next would drop tx.. Just not sure how far...

Would really like it off Penn St or ND lost.. Or SMU or Miami.

Gotta be careful tho, to much chaos opens the door for Bama, USCe or Ole miss to back door in.

So much to still play out. Hard to project outcomes, even more difficult is how the committee deals with more chaos...
