Recruiting Forum 90 Day Weight Loss Thread

Just look at the positive, we've only had 5 weeks so far and 8 are left.

Everyone has seen some weight loss in those 5 weeks, and anyone who has gained is within a pound of their original weight. No major holidays left in the way and we'll be in August for the final stretch so vacations likely out of the picture too. Time to buckle down and finish strong!
 
And folks think lifting and working out is the hard part....

That is easy for me. Started doing pushups when I was 5 or 6 and never minded working out since. Makes you feel a lot better too. But eating well is a lifetime struggle.
 
July 7: 160

I indulged like crazy for the holiday weekend. I had all the stuff that I avoid typically, buttermilk biscuits, cornbread, milk chocolate, popcorn.

Everything in moderation, and no more cheat meals or weekends for the foreseeable future. A week of strict keto and I'll drop all this excess water weight and dry out.

I was a good boy. Zero sweets, no potatoes, corn, bread, rice. Steaks, broccoli, hamburgers in a low carb tortilla, eggs, bacon, sausage. A few corona premiers, otherwise water.

I’ve got Hawaii coming up in ten days. Worried about gaining 15lbs while there.
 
Going to be on my usual workout schedule but definitely worried. We are doing some snorkeling but mainly chilling on the beach.
I did hardly anything other than sit around drinking fruity drinks on the beach. Paddled the kayak a little bit. Walked 4 miles the first day, barefoot. Sanded all the skin off the bottom of my feet so didn't do much the rest of the week.

Well dang! Weight was down but not as much as expected. I was 240 early last week. The plumbing is a little backed up right now is part of the reason. Common I like with a low carb diet.

July 8: 243.5
 
I’m a day late. Back from vacation and back at work. Vacation was not good on the weight loss journey!

4 day weekend at the lake - LOTS of activity, but also lots of food and adult beverages

Weight: 190.

Hoping for a good long streak of movement back into the “loss” category moving forward into the next few weeks.

This is what happened to me. Hit lower earlier in the week so I thought for sure I was headed down even more.
 
That fluctuation...

I had pizza for dinner last night, so this morning I was up a pound! I've got the food tracker on the phone now though, time to put it into overdrive.
