True, they dont run the same system. I dont see how his system is better though. When Muschamp has a top 5 defense for 5 straight years (top 3 for four of those years) then his system can be compared.

You cant say Dantonio learned how to run a TEAM from just the Sweater Vest either. The Vest won games but he couldnt control alot his players. Dantonio players rarely get in trouble and he builds his team around ball control and defense just like Saban's does.

Wow just wow with you Bama fans. Muschamp defenses were good at Auburn, Texas, and Florida. But they can't compare huh?

Dantonio learned nothing from the sweater vest huh? But his teams are built like Tressel's early teams. And are disciplined like Tressel's early teams. Stop with the bull chip.

You give Saban credit for these guys but Dooley and Sunseri aren't on him. Okay I see how it goes. Lol

And that's my point. We have the ability to say that. I'm not saying its a reason to keep Dooley, I'm just saying there is improvement in the actual competition part of the games.

The players are just better not the coaching which is sad. Because when we have a down year it'll be a true down year under Dooley. He's not a coach that can make sugar out of shxt.

You have to be the most blatantly blind homer I have ever seen. Every post is some defense of Bama. It is pathetic. I certainly can't be the only one who sees this.

If we end up at 8 and 5 and is considered a down year, we'd have much more to look forward to in 2013

He has some very good defenses but his philosophy hasnt been proven to better. Thats just a fact regardless of your opinion. He had a defense ranked outside the top 50 at Texas one year. His defense has only finish in the top 5 one time with those 3 programs combines. So no he doesnt compare.

Who said he didnt learn anything from the vest? I said he didnt learn from just the Vest.

I know u hate Saban and Alabama but u have to give credit where credit is due. If not then so be it, the majority knows the truth.

Sunseri was a good LB coach before he got to Bama but he just didnt get major attention until he got there. I credit Saban for getting him recognize nationally as a LB coach. Dooley is one of his guys. He has just failed. plain and simple.

So who has a better defense this year? Muschamp or Saban? They both have somewhat young defenses with experience in spots. And it's Muschamp's second year. And don't just give me stats either because the quality of opponent should count too.

If u dont like it then ignore. You have that right. Im debating with one person and he doesnt have a problem with it so if you dont have anything to bring to the debate stay out of it.

Its a difference between being a blind homer and having factual knowledge. You need to do your research before commenting

No doubt UF has played the tougher schedule. Its his
2nd year , but he did have 10 defensive starters return from last year. I do think his defense will be in the top 5 at least when the season ends. Saban defense finished 3rd in his 2nd year, fwiw.

regarding common opponents, UF played better against LSU, Bama played better against UT and Mizzou. Overall Bama's defense has been better as a unit. I do like some of UFs DL players individually more than Bama's.

It's no debate. Folks bring reasonable arguments and you fall back on Saban walking on water. You love Alabubba and Saban, we get it. But dude makes mistakes and people can be good without having to bow at Saban's altar.

Like I said do some research before commenting because you have no idea what you are talking about. Breaker is a knowledgeable poster and has strong opinions just like me, thats why we can go back and forth. You wouldnt know anything about that so let it go.

I always give examples to back my argument. Most posters on here are bias to their program. You trying to call me out hasnt acccomplished anything.

Your examples are so one sided its amazing. All I wanted to accomplish is to bring it to your attention. It's nice to know how people view you.

I just speak the truth and bring factual info. I really dont care how people view me. I am on a UT site, so of course some fans are going to see things differently.

BTW, tell me something that isnt true that I have said.

Anything to do with Alabubba.

Fire Dooley now. This team has bad playcalling, is poorly coached, is undisciplined, makes stupid mistakes, and is showing no improvement. That is unacceptable. I supported him for a while but at this point I think it's clear what a mess this is. Something needs to change.

Dooley,Sal,Coiner and Ainsley can hit the road now IMO.Cannot support this anymore.I've seen high schools coached MUCH better than this.
