Manziel's mobility hurt Bama more than anything. That's what limits Bray but A&M was coached well. They really gameplanned. Kingsbury called a heck of a game. Swope made some big catches. I think coaching is the biggest difference in UT and A&M. No doubt.

besides the two guys I named on Defense, A&M is very average. now those two I named are Special. their defensive secondary a train wreck just like ours.

but for that team to come in and be Ultra competitive and Win games says a lot about the coaches.

No...I've said it before...talent is not our issue...we don't have Bama talent but we've got enough to be above average...the right coaching staff will pay dividends with this team

Our OL will all play in the NFL
Our QB will be at the very least, a 3rd round pick, maybe first.
Our 2 WR should both be 1st round talent
Our RB may sign an NFL contract.
Our TE will be drafted, probably in the top 3 rounds.

We can't win. SMH.

I think the situation a new coach would come into is much better than what Kiffin got and light years better than what Dooley inherited...the right coaching staff could actually yield immediate results IMO

I agree. We may need some more speed in secondary and lb's but we are a lot better off as far as talent than 3 yrs. ago. Not Top ten better but better than 3 yrs ago.

I'm thinking lack of speed in the secondary is a thing of the past after this year (barring attrition)...

Gray, Bonner, Coleman and Thomas to go along with Sutton and (hopefully) a player like Alexander we'll have speed galore at CB...I also think Randolph and Maybin will be welcomed additions at safety next year

I agree about the ones you mentioned, but they are slow in reacting to the run around the corners. So maybe its more talented db's with speed. Of course it could just be bad coaching.

2 of our LB's will be drafted in the top 4 rounds in 2013or2014
Mo Couch will play in the NFL
P.Wagg could be picked up by a team
Z.Ro could get picked up as well

Lack of speed really hurts the secondary, 27 had a bad game. Offense just becomes too predictable at times. Today was a bad loss

My father told me today that he heard someone say that Haslam said he is willing to pay for Dooley's buyout AND for the first year of the next coaches salary by himself. But the coach has to be a bigtime coach. Anybody else hear this as well? Not trying to start a rumor because i can tell you my father and I are no insiders.
