Dude. Grow up. Admit you were wrong. It's not that hard. I know you bleed orange like most of us, but you were wrong about JG. Man up.
My man Suave was also saying he’s out on Pruitt in the first half of UAB. He rides the emotional wave like someone else I know

He might not be a 4.3 guy but he is in between 4.4 - 4.6 which means he is probably faster on the field.

I really think that what makes people think he is slow, was that he was thinking instead of reacting instinctively till it finally clicked. All the best Safetys I have ever seen were not burners..

Mind boggling rushing total for us in the night

19 rushes total for 85 yds. I was a bit surprised we never even attempted to establish the running game. It appears the staff must have seen in the UK secondary what they saw in the SC game - a secondary they could exploit and so decided to attack it the entire game. Unfortunately, Maurer seemed to have T-Rex arms last night and was short-arming his throws in the first half. UK is pretty stout on the interior of its DL, but I would have liked to see UT attack the edges with the running game. I think we could have success there, but the staff decided to focus on attacking with the pass. Thankfully the D took control of the 2nd half.

Watching SEC Now and have watched the clip of the JG interview after the game several times. While I am definitely one that was ready for him to go, the kid has changed my mind. His bad plays are now GREATLY overshadowed by this post-game interview alone, not to mention his play in the past few games. He seemed sincere, excited, relieved, and no doubt, he is all VOL! So kudos to you JG, way to persevere!

I challenge eveyone to watch that interview. After watching, if any of your negative perspectives of the kid do not change at least a little, then maybe it is you, not him. I believe the kid is giving his all for TENNESSEE. All you can ask. Go Vols!!

I want to see it

Can you post it ?

I think the kid was just rusty throwing the ball and making the right reads.
That and there really is so much to learn at this level. There's the occasional phenom that gets it as a freshman, who knows, maybe they were even coached more "next level" in HS.

But even if a QB takes the more normal couple of years, once they do understand all the intricacies, still plenty of time to be just as good as the exceptions.

Agreed. I actually thought these refs were much better than most. They seemed to let them play. They have to call 12 on the field.
You are effing blind...they ran the ball 64 times, and..wait for it...ONE...freakin holding call made. That was absolute garbage, it is literally impossible...hell Blakely had to karate chop the dudes hands off him on that last play..SMH.

If they had called holding like they normally do, UK never even scores in the game. They were blocking well, but they were holding on the edges badly literally every play.

I disagree. A Taylor just didn't get off the block many times. You are going to get called for holding more often than not on PASSING plays, not running plays.

12 on the field after the TO was beyond bad. Absolutely can’t happen.

I know we all are very excited and rightfully so about this turnaround from the dead of September but even last night there was some coaching issues that have to fixed if Pruitt is going to get this program above and beyond where butch took it

After BYU, who had 5-5 + everyone lovin’ Pruitt and JG? Anybody?

Honestly, I would have said 2-8/3-7, and that one or both of those guys probably wouldn’t still be here.
I still thought he was going to rival if not top Fulmer if the BVS batterers didn't tank the program by fahring him. CJP is a grown ass man.

Reactions: Ulysees E. McGill
Bold Prediction: Kelly Bryant retweeks hammy vs Florida and is held out vs Vols then returns to lead MIzzou to victory of Arky in last game to become bowl eligible.

I thought the play that really cost kentucky the game was on the 4th and 3 i think late in the 3rd, they chose to throw it deep instead of sticking with their option run. The was a horrible play call.
I disagree...It was a good call, but horrible execution..of course you could say they should have known horrible execution from their WR/RB/QB was a high probability...but if he throws a good ball there it is a great play, and they probably win.

Any throw was a horrible call because they can’t execute it
