He would absolutely get my 2nd place vote if we win out.

Orgeron
Pruitt* if we win out
Mullen
Malzahn

I think have been the best coaching jobs this year. Auburn’s schedule was absolutely brutal this year. Maybe the hardest in the last few years.

Recency bias. I’m sorry but Pruitt doesn’t belong in COTY talk. Not this year. Not after a self-inflicted sinkhole we started out in. I mean that wasn’t exactly adversity.

Edit: I see you mean a second place vote. Yea that doesn’t bother me. But still. Injuries haven't been an excuse. And two of our biggest rivals ran us out of the stadium. It’s trending the right way, but the aggregate is not pretty.

Now I'm excited to face FSU at the end of November. If they are whipping #6 UF in Gainesville and we can hang with or beat them, it could be a really good indicator. Or UF is just really overrated and Mike White still sucks.

I am going to be that guy this morning and challenge all of the JG haters to show some character and apologize. There have been some horrible things said about him, and I have also said things I should not have. So, I apologize and retract them. There is no way that you are going to convince me that he does not bleed orange with every fiber of his being. He played terrific last night. I don't want to hear any more garbage about how his passes don't travel very far or that he just throws jump balls. He puts those jump balls right where he is supposed to. Not only that, but he ran for two huge first downs, one on a scramble. I don't think we win if he doesn't play last night. I know it was an ugly 4 point win over Kentucky, but getting to a bowl game is critical for this team. Thank you Broadway Joe. I know many of you have already spoke up for him and that shows that you can stand up and own that you may have been wrong. I am also going to tag @BruinVol because I recall him having JG's back when almost no one else did. I love this team and the culture change that is happening right in front of our eyes. #winout GBO!

I already said my peace. JG is good people. Goes to bat for his guys, stays the course. Tough son of a gun.

are you saying they play well together as a team? i will agree. as far as results,'comparatively, just ok.
Before I give up trying to get this through to you...I am going to try one more time..s l o w l y..

This team..right...now...is...playing..good..football..I...am...not...talking...about..season...long...record..

This is a GOOD team right now...the overall record has not a damn thing to do to with it..

It will be a good season if we win out and win the bowl game...otherwise you are right...it will just be an OK season.

And here we go. Not even one full day has passed. Come on, man. Give him some credit.

I have not been on JG's case. He provided a nice spark last night and his incredible toughness was on display again. While some praise is due, just not ready for a parade and the awarding of laurels. His campaigns are just beginning. Nice too to see the QB room unified.

Give credit to the players, they gutted out a win in a game where the coaches had a terrible game plan.
It was mentioned in game and post game that the coaches had to make lots of adjustments due to Kentucky installing the triple option this week. So yes we couldn’t have prepared for plays we didn’t have on tape. Only thing I would have prepared for is stacking box and spying Bowden.

If you have seen some of the posts from Bama fans wanting to fire Saban.
Bama has to pay Saban 10 million a year for however many years. Pruitt talks him into coming here as in intern while he draws his check. I know there’s no way in hell this would ever happen but it would be an awesome payback!!!!
