Morris was recruiting pretty well.

I’m very interested to see if he takes a job this year because I could see him landing somewhere as OC or QB coach or something and bringing certain players with him.

And potentially give up part of his buyout? All the true believer Protestant Work Ethic people will be following closely to pass final judgment if he doesn't get back to 80 hour weeks asap...

I’m sure that’s part of the calculation to take another job but I don’t think all buyouts are written the same way. My understanding is that some have offset language and some don’t.

DeerPark mentioned that it was around 96K currently and planned renovations would have it around 92K. I guess everyone inside the stadium gets counted to reach the current 102,455.

Oh they are getting in. That’s why they put Georgia in at 4 right now. It’s the best scenario. LSU beats Georgia and they will put bama in. Georgia beats LSU and LSU only loss is to the sec champion who gets in no matter what and they have a tie breaker head to head over bama

I think bammer in is less worse than GA. The best argument for bammer from our perspective is that could be us before too long. Beat mizzou!!!

In that case why do rankings until after the season? I agree it'll all work itself out, but there are scenarios where the preseason or mid-season top ranked team will stay above more deserving teams simply because of the preseason or mid-season ranking. Auburn getting left out (2003 maybe?) was a perfect example.

Imo it shouldn't many times, but should sometimes. Has one of the teams improved or regressed significantly? Or was missing a player at the time? Then timing matters.

In Aub/Ore case, I don't see that it should. Both appear to be steadily the same.

Fair point. In this case it shouldn't, but there are times it should. It's a pet peeve of mine (if you couldn't tell lol) how the polls and committees do rankings based on last year's results or how good we thought they would be in the preseason instead of going entirely off the current year's body of work.

It's so simple LSU, Ohio State, Clemson, Bama are the best 4 either team would destory Minn. i don't like bama but they would put a beat down on MINN. OR THE DUCKS LOOK AT THE FINAL 4 YOU WOULD HAVE they say they wont the best 4 think about it would you rater see a LSU-Minn game or a LSU-bAMA REMATCH IN THE semi finals.

Minn has to play OSU...it works itself out. Just like 95% of what you all are arguing over. Spots in mid-November really don't matter when so many will work themselves out.
