I know i wear you guys out with my Mike Leach love but athletic did an article about his initial team and staff at Tech and it’s incredible. He had 8 assistants and players that went on to become FBS/NFL head coaches. Kliff Kingsbury was his QB and Wes welker was A freshman WR. He also gave Dave Arranda (LSU DC) his first GA Job.

I was someone adamantly opposed to Leach being here. Not because of his coaching but his antics. He’s just weird. Not arguing his success but... he’s weird. He looks like a bad Vince Gill impersonator.

Not the popular consensus, i never wanted him here. Would have been entertaining in press conferences, but never a good fit in the SEC. In before someone shows up with “he would light it up with his offense”. That’s not the SEC.
