What's another 2 minutes when he's been balling for the entire half? It's just unfortunate. In two or three years when we're up 35-7 in the second quarter on some SEC team with Harrison Bailey at QB I doubt any of us are going to have an issue.LOL IIRC the score was 35-7 with about 2 minutes left. At what point is it more important to rest your fragile QB and let your inexperienced QBs get experience in case he gets injured again? Obviously before the 2nd quarter.

Just ignore the trolls. They're true psychiatric cases.LOL IIRC the score was 35-7 with about 2 minutes left. At what point is it more important to rest your fragile QB and let your inexperienced QBs get experience in case he gets injured again? Obviously before the 2nd quarter.
Not really. There was absolutely no reason to have him in there. He has run a 2 minute drill before. MSU was not going to score enough to get past 21. He needed to rest that ankle. Other QBs needed to get playing time. The only reason he was in was to run up the score to try to force the PO committee to pick them with 1 loss. Granted it would have been worse if the ankle was the injury. Let him get some criticism. It is so rare.
Hopefully HB won't be as fragile as Tua!!! I had already been questioning why Saban still had "him" in because of "him" being injury prone and with a bad ankle. The announcers questioned it too. Let Saban get some negative press for once. What's another 2 minutes when he's been balling for the entire half? It's just unfortunate. LolLol, I don't even care.
TN becomes the 3rd reich if our coach tugs a facemask.
But I'll go ahead and check the old Saban sympathy box.

Yes. Let him burn.I doubt Miss St was much of a threat to come back, and even if they threatened you could always put Tua back in. With his recent injury history, he should not been in the game with a 4 TD lead. I think Saban wanted to impress the polls with a huge victory for a possible spot in the playoffs. You play with fire, sometimes you get burned...Saban.
You think Alabama would target Pruitt if he gets it rolling here?I think the tide has turned on the Bama dynasty. Bama fatigue has set in, and people root for Anybody But Bama. Saban looks like a guy who's tired and not having fun. I can't see him sticking around for too much backsliding, and he's not going to like all the criticism coming his way. And I'll be surprised if Tua returns. With his injury record, I think he'll want to get paid as soon as possible, in case his career is cut short.
Little Nickie who makes all the self-help videos about never quitting? LMFAO. I bet our trolls lap that sh!t up.I think the tide has turned on the Bama dynasty. If you think about it, JUCO RB's should be bigger and stronger than most high school RB's. They should have an easier time adjusting to college life too. Just a thought.Anyone else find it curious we keep offering JUCO rb’s? I wouldn’t have thought that a position we would.
LB I could see. But with our top three rb’s coming back next season, it just seems curious to me.
What if the bad ankle contributed to him breaking his hip? If he was a half a step slower and couldn't escape or even control how he went down, then it is on Saban. They could have beaten MSST with @Bassmaster_Vol behind center. He was a dumbass for even playing him one snap. He should have rested him for this game and the next (Western Carolina) and given him three total weeks to rest and heal. There was zero reason to play him other than to try and impress the committee. He was selfish and now he's paying the price, well Tua is.Saban is taking too much flack for this Tua deal. If he had re-injured the ankle that might be one thing, but this was a completely different injury. I don't think you pull anyone in the first half unless it's for poor play.
It may make it difficult to hire after Saban. Who in their right mind would want to follow in those footsteps?I think Bama falls off a cliff when Saban retires. One <10 win season and Tuscaloosa will be set ablaze. God forbid it happens to the new guy in year one. That job will be radioactive for about 5 years post-Saban, if not longer.
This is why I was pissed they did this before the season was over. If someone gets hurt, it is on us.
