I still believe we will finish with a top fifteen class which is good enough to compete in the SEC. We just need to continue developing our players to make a big jump in the 2021 cycle to compete for championships. Plus, having an elite QB can take a good team to great. And I hope that is Bailey.
the formula for now is...core contributors...develop the rest. that's how last year's class was, that's how this year's class will be.
if we do something with next year's schedule, the 21 class really needs to be the splash class.
it's not apples to apples, but the forumula is similar....to what the bball team has done....they got "good" players, developed them, got results, send guys to the NBA and poof.....recruiting has taken off.
BBall has the proof in the pudding.
football needs that too. and closing this season out strong would be a really good step in the right direction considering how it started.
then...need some more results next year....
it's just not going to be a quick fix, and unfortunately, it maybe year 3's cycle that really makes the impact we've all anticipated since this staff got here.
