This - a million times over. It's not just the player development and scheming - it's the effect he has on team attitude and the rest of the coaching staff. He loved being here even in his first rodeo. I hope they even give him an extension to match CJP.

Thank you Phil, UT admin, and the boosters who were willing to restore Vol football to prominence.

While true, you can also tell he is playing hurt. He does not have as much explosion as he did a few games ago. Get past Vandy, and I think we will see him look a lot different in the bowl game when he is healthy.

Man, you and I must be distantly related, because we like each other‘s posts a lot, which means we think a lot alike. Maybe one day we will cross paths and meet.

100% agree. It has been obvious the last few weeks he doesn't have his usually good mobility. But he is one tough dude who is giving his all for Tennessee.

You are on fire today FWIW. Well done.

I am curious about what RF guys think about JG coming back for another season.

Part of me says it would be good so they can give HB a season to mature.

The other part of me says it is time to hand over the job to the golden child.

I know it doesn't matter what I think. JG and the staff will decide that. However, is JG earning the trust back of Vol nation because he has made some really bonehead decisions and bad plays in critical moments through the years. Has he turned the corner enough to trust him with next season?

Can the "we need a new O-line coach" stuff stop now? Even when Chaney and Pittman were here, it was still Chaney and Pittman. Just like it was at UGA and we now openly see how they have taken a step back with all that 4 and 5 star talent.

It's Chaney and Friend now. Sounds like a TV show, but is providing outstanding results on the field.

If not for Georgia, I think this division starts to be ours in the next few years. Hope to be able to battle them on the field and steal their recruits like good ol times.

I’d like to see what he can do after having the same OC in consecutive seasons. I feel like they said during Kentucky game that he has had a different OC every year.
