He has unquestioned character to take his reserve role and supported his teammates. It looks to me like it took a little longer for him to get comfortable w the offense but I see him going thru progressions now and looks like the game has slowed down for him.
Hopefully a couple of posters on here who accused him of being selfish will admit they were mistaken..

I love a good redemption story..make NO mistake..this is a redemption story, which means he had to redeem himself from something..

The criticism was warranted, I will not apologize, or retract one thing I said...

To do that would lessen the near miraculous nature of this return from the abyss..this kids career was DEAD...the only people that still believed in him were Jeremy F'n Pruitt and himself...

I love this, and I hope the kid goes out at UT like a Capo..

Total Nigel fan, dude brings it and gives it everything he has every game... he's definitely really good at times, but not great... at this point he is still missing too much... He may get drafted somewhere late, but unfortunately not "the steal of the draft"...

I think JJ will definitely take those honors if they are handing them out... he won't impress with the 40, but the kid will be the go to guy for a first down on many teams within a year... almost like Pwilly.

Anyone else intrigued to see how CJP is as a postseason coach? Some coaches do exceptionally well at getting their teams prepared for the postseason (Dabo and CBJ come to mind), while some are notoriously bad in the big moments (Brian Kelly and Kirby Smart come to mind).

Bowl performances have more variance than ever before with more and more kids skipping bowl games for the combine, playoffs devaluing big bowl games, etc.

I honestly don't put too much value into them anymore, unless it is the playoffs, but it will be interesting nonetheless to see how we perform. If we come out and boatrace a team, my faith once we get to Atlanta/NY6 bowl/playoffs will be sky high.
