Florida had a 3rd string basically QB all year...
let’s also not act like LSU and bama was all that close. They got dominated at home.
Bama played the one team that matches up with them personnel wise and got dominated at home. Saban mismanaged the injury to tua and had him in the game up 35-7 only to get hurt again and maybe cost him a career.
IMO, Pruitt would be COY if he beat BYU and Ga state and he would be 2nd place if he didn’t lost to GA state.
Dominated?
You're reaching.

Also when did SEC COY start being based on the out of conference schedule?
2-6 to 5-3 is more deserving of COY in the SEC, when you factor in we're the only team that played 3 of the top 4 teams. And 2 of those games were road games to boot.
LSU went from 5-3 to 8-0 (assuming they beat A&M), Florida 5-3 to 6-2 but Mullen should get votes? Come on man
Coach O will win it, and he should. But if it's truly about SEC coach of the year how do you not put Pruitt 2nd, especially considering the turn around he made -in season- Love how Trask, who was the clear #2 from the beginning is now "basically" a 3rd stringer...
Trask has been through every spring & fall camp healthy as an ox with Mullen there, he was without question the best prepared backup to come in for an injured starter of any in the country. He's also had arguably a better season in his 8 games than Franks has in his career.
smh I mean I get you're a Pruitt basher and JG hater...but damn we're bowl eligible and you can't let us speculate in peace about something that anyone outside the negavols is also speculating, that Pruitt has earned some COY buzz.
