Hah. man I’m not going to hop on twitter and try to verify what was actually going through the head of a 20 year old football player. Other people usually come with updates - like you yourself. If it were true that he was commenting about football, then yeah, byeeeeeee. It seems to be that it wasn’t about that at all. Which is cool. No biggie. Moving on.

Not sure what you’re trying to get at by calling people out for liking a post. Should I rescind my like? silliness. Relax. Go find the fools who were sending JG death threats I’m just hanging out man.

Pruitt is undoubtedly a lot like Saban and thinks of too much praise, especially when he knows the program still has a ways to go to be really good, as rat poison. But I don't think he was pissed.

I agree, at this point it’s just about adding another win to the record. I’m very proud of this team and trajectory they are on but let’s remember they have only beaten 1 bowl eligible team in SEC play. IMO Michigan or Penn State would win by a couple TD’s.

Give me a FSU, Iowa or Louisville and let’s just get the 8th win and moment for 2020.

Then he throws his shoulderpads into number 14 in the endzone and leaves him laying on the ground. There always seems to be this path of destruction left in his wake. They should invent a new version of "Where's Waldo" called "Where's JJ". To win, all you have to do is trace the path of the poor fools who attempted to tackle him :D

Right. The important thing is getting the win. Would help us gain even more momentum going into offseason.

I completely agree with this. Other coaches and definitely Butch would have hung their hat on that win. They would have started the interview with some stupid cliche about going bowling and how we have returned and blah blah blah.

Let the fans do that crap.

I love that he isn’t satisfied. Saban is never satisfied and is always coaching. Pruitt is too.

Evening Ladies and Gents, first time I’ve been on VN since around May. I decided then that our recruiting success going forward would be based solely on On the field progress this year and I didn’t want to worry about the hand wringing until that end was satisfied. After week 2 I was not feeling so hot and after Florida I was like ...ugh. I was satisfied with the first half effort against UGA and then MSU was a definite turnaround. I got the opportunity to go to Tuscaloosa and came away impressed with the team effort, regardless of the obvious mistakes.

That said, this teams effort and resilience since then has been inspiring. CJP and staff have done an outstanding job. These boys have a Never say Die attitude and I find myself watching these games and not worrying, not superstious of the past, because it doesn’t seem to effect them as it once did.

I’m taking my 9 year old boy to his first regular season game at Neyland next week, and I’m so excited that it’s not for bowl eligibility. I’m excited that they should be playing loose. I’m excited for the future, and I’m ready to follow recruiting again. These guys are winners and Alphas will be coming.

On the Cole Kubelic thing, many of you noticed the same thing as me and I laughed my butt off over it. I’ve noted for weeks now that reporters and commentators constantly try and frame a question to get a positive response from CJP and every time he says what we should have done better. I see Kesling get particularly annoyed by it.

Kubelic noticed that same thing and good naturedly called CJP out for it. If you note Pruitts demeanor, he actually respected him for it. I thought it was great.

I thought he actually broke Pruitt out of coach speak a little which was nice

Hey ain’t nothing wrong with Arkansas. NWA is a fantastic area and Hot Springs has horse racing, a casino with sports betting, awesome lakes and bike/hiking trails, really cool history downtown, and the world’s shortest St Patrick’s Day parade. All to go along with your typical southern hospitality! I hate LR but there’s still tons to do. Arkansas as a whole is a pretty average state. Not great but definitely not bad!
