Two phony trip penalties and a bad holding call wiped out important plays. Those trip penalties give the appearance that the officials planned those in advance.

Also when did SEC COY start being based on the out of conference schedule?

2-6 to 5-3 is more deserving of COY in the SEC, when you factor in we're the only team that played 3 of the top 4 teams. And 2 of those games were road games to boot.

LSU went from 5-3 to 8-0 (assuming they beat A&M), Florida 5-3 to 6-2 but Mullen should get votes? Come on man

Coach O will win it, and he should. But if it's truly about SEC coach of the year how do you not put Pruitt 2nd, especially considering the turn around he made -in season- Love how Trask, who was the clear #2 from the beginning is now "basically" a 3rd stringer...

Trask has been through every spring & fall camp healthy as an ox with Mullen there, he was without question the best prepared backup to come in for an injured starter of any in the country. He's also had arguably a better season in his 8 games than Franks has in his career.

smh I mean I get you're a Pruitt basher and JG hater...but damn we're bowl eligible and you can't let us speculate in peace about something that anyone outside the negavols is also speculating, that Pruitt has earned some COY buzz.
Thank you!

Unlike the "who cares? We won" people, Pruitt gets it. It is about the process/decisions, not the results.

Pruitt can often be happy about the way we played during a loss and furious about how we played while winning. He gets IT. He is process-oriented, not results-oriented.
The point of the process is winning.

The point of the process is winning.
Certainly in the long-run, but game analysis can only be focused on controllable aspects. The point is to analyze process/decisions. Correct process/decisions, tautologically so, will result in winning in the long-term.

Caring whether you won or lost in the short-term is backwards. Pruitt understands this well. He's often just as upset after wins as after losses. Media does not get this, like they don't get Saban's words, because they don't grasp the best practice of being process-oriented. They think it is some Saban oddity, but it is common practice in any analytical field.

Pruitt gets it. Even if Cubelic doesn't.

Please let him go to Arkansas, please let him go to Arkansas, please let him go to Arkansas! For the single reason alone that we play them next year, he would not take that job.

I have heard that he has had talks with them. Pretty sure they are going after Matt Campbell, but CBJ could be in the mix

Jennings should run the 40 with 2 170 pound dummies attached to him and then tell the scouts, “That’s how it usually works when I catch the Ball.”

While doing this, there should also be several dummies he has to knock down and step on or over to simulate the vain attempts of others to impede his path to the endzone.

I get all that. I'm just saying that process is useless if it doesn't lead to positive results. I believe in process...I am not really arguing.

I just think it is good to recognize what is done right, positive encouragement is a big part of the process in emotion driven sports. It has to be...intangibles like confidence and momentum are huge parts of the equation.

I loved last night on his TD how he basically threw 18 down like a rag doll, got hit by two more kitties, and then threw 18 down again..I laughed really hard.

lol what? I literally have said multiple times that Coach O is the winner. That’s not really debatable (if they go undefeated). I also said a case can be made for Pruitt to be runner up with Mullen IMO. All i said was my ballet would be Ed, Mullen, Pruitt. Simply bc of the two losses to Ga state and BYU. Which is still an accomplishment. How many 7-5 coaches even sniff COY discussion?

I’ve said Pruitt has had a spectacular 2nd half. Unfortunately the award is not SEC coach of the 2nd half of the season... if it were Pruitt would be a runaway winner. It’s possible to hold him and his staff accountable for the start of the season while at the same time being very pleased with the rest of the season and excited for the future.

If you're doing it right.... The result is just another part of The process.... The result is really inconsequential to it.

Cause the process is supposed to just be "the how" things are done... Sustainable habits... Consistency. Reliability. And most importantly..."the who" shouldn't ever matter.

If you're result is dependent on a person or certain people... The problem arises when those people go away...

So the question is... Do you have a person or a process?
