Absolutely not mad we made a bowl. Very happy about that. It still doesn’t change that Jacksonville is a **** hole. But I’m very excited we are making a bowl and getting better as a program.

The reason I brought up Orgeron was because people including Hank, and including myself thought he would fail miserably. It was more of an indictment of Volnation's coach hiring prowess. My whole point is that no one knows whether he'll be successful or not. While he doesn't have the same OC pedigree that Fulmer did he does come from a similar background being an Online coach. He has more experience in that role than Fulmer did at the time and at more places. He's regarded as one of the best OL coaches in the country. Whether that translates to being a good head coach is yet to be determined.

A wide receiver coach that had never been a coordinator became head coach. I'm sure that one wasn't the most exciting hire but turned out pretty well for one fanbase.

I agree with yer points. Not the comparison with fulmer or ed o other than his first hc opportunity at ole miss. Dabo is yer best comparison and really the only one you needed to make.
