Weinke was an analyst for Saban, what in the holy hell is wrong with Pruitt taking him as a position coach? It’s one thing to poach coordinators and what not, but this is a situation where everybody comes out ahead and Saban only loses one of his 400 analysts.

If the roles were reversed I wonder what Saban would say about another HC hiring a guy he just fired with a buyout and put him on staff for $35K/year?

One thing I always admired about Saban was his fatalistic stance on his assistants moving on for opportunities. Mostly rewarded by them staying on for the playoffs (ala Pruitt). But the guy’s an entitled baby...like his idol Belichick with the recent Bengals crap! It’s all good until you don’t win it all...then you look for excuses.

Sorry for changing the subject, but I just found out my oldest son got a welcome package to a local college...

He has earned an academic and marching band scholarships to THE University of Tennessee, and will March with The Pride of the Southland starting next fall. I couldn't help but tear up when he opened the acceptance letter, and Rocky Top started playing.

I couldn't be more proud of my son and his accomplishments, and I hope you'll join me in congratulating him on this amazing opportunity

Yes sir. BSs can only get you to 25, limited to the same number you took the previous year. Signing limit now includes them, so it would violate the 25 signing rule.

Only way to get over 25 now is if you can backcount.

Or if the on-line Vol Faithful crank it up.....we changed coaches / bowl games etc etc, surly we can whip the NCAA to adding one or two croots.

Interesting, I thought Hubbs was saying the other day we could take over 25. I hate the 25 limit

One place Indiana offense excels is on 3rd down. 48% conversion rate, 11th nationally. And this is one place our defense has lagged a bit, currently at 40% and 70th nationally. They like to run their QB on 3rd down. Will be Peyton running vs our front 7 in important situations. Hopefully have Bituli on spy and let him that down.

Maybe he knows we got a few spots back idk. We'd need to have gotten a couple to backcount afaik. Seems everyone and mods know less than ever how they are working things under this staff so nothing would surprise me. None of the mods ever got info how the montgomery and kuaze thing happened afaik. Dang wizards in compliance
