Rumor has it UK coaches were crowing to recruits like Rybbka that Kentucky was going to a better bowl than Tennessee because they are now a more premier program. Fulmer and Pruitt were set to accept the MCB but got wind of this disrespect and decided to take UKs spot and put them back in their place.

This is just Basillio playing with the rumors that KSR put out. Kentucky Sports Radio is the only source that kept claiming we were going to the MCB and they were going to the Gator Bowl. They're also the ones pushing that we somehow strong armed our way in (which is ridiculous considering how both teams finished and how we won the h2h). That said, a lot of UK fans are convinced we screwed them and it cheeses them off royally and despite the truth I'm kinda ok with them thinking that.
