Nick Saban has some beef with Jeremy Pruitt

Saban doesn't seem to understand that he had nothing to do with landing Pruitt a job. He was an elite DC for both FSU and UGA before working at BAMA and would've been a great DC anywhere he went. That leads to an HC position. With Kirby he might have a point because much of his career was spent under Saban's wing and his first big role was there but Kirby still had the talent to be considered a great DC and could've gone elsewhere when that was evident. Instead, he stuck around forever.

However, even with guys who has run a rehab for like Kiffin and even Butch, he's gotten enormous value out of. It's not like he gets nothing from his assistants (the absence of certain coordinators and Bama's performance without them proves that Saban isn't a one man show) but he sure is acting like they should somehow pay him deference.
