2017 class was an indication that Butch had lost the program. What should have been momentum had recruits running the other way. Those weren’t depth classes those were poop classes. This is a different situation, recruits need Pruitt to prove he can win. No one can deny he went a long way to proving that with this years turnaround. 2021 recruiting momentum (and how we close this year) should give us the answer.

I believe 2016 was the original “depth class.” Lost on a couple guys late like Derrick Brown. 2017 was just straight garbage aside from a couple of players.

Here's my 2 cents. I think we have better coaches than everybody in the SEC. It's only hohum if your looking at recruiting services. If you look at tape, these guys look like studs.

Everyone would think PandR sucked if they stopped during the first season. Just skip it altogether and start with S2 unless you are already almost done.

I haven’t said anything about Pruitt at all. This class may end up fine. But if we are talking about it being a depth class in mid February, then it’s trying to rationalize away a disappointing class.

Well, you go ahead and be miserable. I'm going to celebrate getting players like HB, who is an excellent QB....KL, the best player in the state that Pruitt will make into an AA... OT, who will be an awesome lineman for us.... JH will be a really good WR for us..... And excited to see what our coaches do with the rest of these. That's not even mentioning the possibility of DW.

Well, fortunately the class does not play against the other classes. They play on the team. The other teams can only play 11 at a time.

My opinion, some are pizzed off because we don't get to skip a step. It would be nice but it ain't gonna happen.
We were down too long and we don't get the luxury of bit*hing and demanding recruits from Bama. We have to earn it back. Pissed or not, that's still how it's gonna happen.
