I think the plan is to build an elite defense. I don't know why you guys have a problem with that. I think some would rather have a class of 5* busts than have a solid class of talented 3*&4* football players.

Let’s be honest, we’ve been so low we have to first beat the Vanderbilts, South Carolina’s, Missouri’s, and Kentucky’s of the world consistently every year before we can fret with not beating the elite.

I feel we have them in the rear view after this year but let’s do that first and then keep building.

If we was to get all of those guys it would give us a composite score of 260.44 with possibly 3 spots left, over the last 4 years that would put us in the 9-15 range in the final class rankings.

I think you are right, but let’s not take this last 10 years for granted. I think it should humble all of us. We will also appreciate more when we are back where we belong.

We really don't have the talent to beat any of the 4 big dogs in Oklahoma, Georgia, Florida, or Alabama. And recruiting classes like this one doesn't change that. Gotta do better
