First, you do realize that you're talking about 61 yards against a team with recruiting rankings of 3, 14, 8 and 5 over the past four classes? Second, if you are weak in the passing game any team that is the least bit comfortable playing man coverage is going to load the box and stuff the run.

My question would be why are you weak in the passing game with all of that talent? I know they had some injuries, but Fromm is supposed to be elite.

Houston wraps up the division nest week and they are not playing for anything in week 17. Titans win against them and for sure Steelers are not beating Baltimore bc they are fighting for the 1 seed and will still be playing hard. Titans get the wildcard . I hope anyway

Yep, the 3star rating is basically all encompassing. Obviously there's a huge difference in a Tulane vs a Bama 3*. But you also often see the bump to 4 after the established team takes serious interest. Do they suddenly become better players? Of course not. But services know to keep from looking like idiots, they need to listen to the real evaluators.

Pruitt puts enough in the league from TN, he'll get the same treatment. His players will be bumped. And when the same exact kind of class gets rated higher, some will be glad that he "finally learned to recruit better".

Of course Sleegro is correct that some are just painting this as a 3* class and intentionally glossing over all the 4 stars, anyway.

A 3 Star that got bumped to a 4 Star would simply be evaluated as such in the analysis. Nothing tricky there.

And I haven’t painted this as a “3 Star” class. At all. I’m on record as liking a lot of the pieces we have committed.

I posted an objective, factual statistical analysis and some ran with it as somehow being a stinging indictment of this class. Which it was not.

I take it you don’t find statistics interesting? Strange, for a sports fan. Jmo.
