So what’s the ESD verdict
If UT keeps everyone they have in the fold that is expected to sign early, and adds Whitehead, TB, and Holiday it will be a good signing day. If they add the aforementioned and Washington, Joseph, or Tisdol it will be a great signing day. No one can complain if we sign double digit 4/5 star players in a class, it isn't realistic to expect to out recruit Bama, Georgia, LSU, or Florida on a regular basis but if we sign double digit 4/5 star players then we are keeping pace. The differences between a high 4 star and a 5 star are semantics
2001 Miami was by far the most talented team of all time. I'm not sure a single one of the players you just listed would've started on that Miami team. Bosa and Zeke maybe but those positions were loaded so maybe not. There were 4 NFL RBs on that team. Portis, McGahee, Gore and Najeh Davenport.Maybe “best team” is the wrong word but They are easily the most talented imo modern era. Early 2000s Miami is the only team that’s debatable but they also easily get the coaching edge with Urban Meyer > butch davis/Larry Coker.

Yep, and Holiday in the wildcat with Gray coming across the backfield and the option to throw to Washington on a vertical. I’m coming for you Chaney. One thing is for sure, with the additions of Hyatt, Calloway, and Holiday, we got a whole lot faster at receiver. We will be able to do with them what Bama has been doing with their receivers. Throw a 10 yard slant and watch it go for 60.
Agree I’ve always said you should look at recruiting classes in tiers as opposed to individual rankings.
Something like:
1-6
7-12
13-18
19-25
Anyone else see dogs RB James Cook was arrested while driving a Dodge Charger with the dealer tag still on... and without a GA license? lmao

Gotcha. I understand we’re going to finish with a good class - pretty average for our program historically.
