So what’s the ESD verdict

If UT keeps everyone they have in the fold that is expected to sign early, and adds Whitehead, TB, and Holiday it will be a good signing day. If they add the aforementioned and Washington, Joseph, or Tisdol it will be a great signing day. No one can complain if we sign double digit 4/5 star players in a class, it isn't realistic to expect to out recruit Bama, Georgia, LSU, or Florida on a regular basis but if we sign double digit 4/5 star players then we are keeping pace. The differences between a high 4 star and a 5 star are semantics

One thing is for sure, with the additions of Hyatt, Calloway, and Holiday, we got a whole lot faster at receiver. We will be able to do with them what Bama has been doing with their receivers. Throw a 10 yard slant and watch it go for 60.

Agree I’ve always said you should look at recruiting classes in tiers as opposed to individual rankings.

Something like:
1-6
7-12
13-18
19-25

Maybe “best team” is the wrong word but They are easily the most talented imo modern era. Early 2000s Miami is the only team that’s debatable but they also easily get the coaching edge with Urban Meyer > butch davis/Larry Coker.

Joey bosa
Zeke Elliot
Marshawn Lattimore
Gareon Conley
Eli Apple
Malik hooker
Taylor decker
Billy price
Reakwon McMillan
Curtis Samuel
Von bell
Darron lee
Paris Campbell
Noah Spence
Devin Smith
Terry mclaurin
Braxton Miller
Doran grant
Nick vannett
2001 Miami was by far the most talented team of all time. I'm not sure a single one of the players you just listed would've started on that Miami team. Bosa and Zeke maybe but those positions were loaded so maybe not. There were 4 NFL RBs on that team. Portis, McGahee, Gore and Najeh Davenport.

Edit: This was the depth chart. It's absurd.

Yep, and Holiday in the wildcat with Gray coming across the backfield and the option to throw to Washington on a vertical. I’m coming for you Chaney.

I don't disagree with this characterization....but...if the #6 class was built on a handful of the top 5* and a bunch of low 3* and the #12 class was balanced and built of 4* and high 3*, I'll take the #12 class every time. Football is a team sport and the difference between the groups may come down to a few elite players who may or may not affect the team positively.

Anyone else see dogs RB James Cook was arrested while driving a Dodge Charger with the dealer tag still on... and without a GA license? lmao

On top of that, he had an open container of alcohol and the unnamed person riding with him had a gun in the glove box. The cop asked him if he had any marijuana in the car and he said "No, I already smoked it". LOL

How many are we getting?

Holiday over Perry imho; TCU has started pushing for other wr's as of late. I could see Perry as well but I believe Holiday is a bigger priority for this staff

The Pete Carroll USC dynasty with Leinhart, Reggie Bush, Lendale White, Dwayne Jarrett was some of the best college football I’ve seen.

Of course, the 2001 Miami team was absolutely ridiculously. Probably #1 in my book. Man, what I wouldn’t give to have put our 2001 squad up against them. Nebraska never had a chance, but we could’ve gave em a game I know it...

Alright, my 8 year old self is going to go cry a little bit now ttyl

If we get played by Washington and Morven we failed this class.

That is a ridiculous assertion, we have never led for either other than a few opinions by insiders. We aren't even considered a threat to sign Washington by the majority of insiders and Morven was committed to FSU until recently.

Gotcha. I understand we’re going to finish with a good class - pretty average for our program historically.

I’m just wondering which guys are expected to sign tomorrow and will there be any surprises
