After a 4 win year in a coaches 4th year, and despite firing an OC, uscjr signs a RB, QB, and WR rated higher their our guys at the respective positions.

Not UGA. Not Clemson. Not Bama.

uscjr.

It’s weird.

And I hate hate hate uscjr. So it bothers me.

editors note : I like our class. I just wish uscjr had a dumpster fire class they probably should have considering the circumstances
Champ can be a position coach here in 2021. We'll allow it.

They show 18 DBs on the roster and only one of them is a senior, guess after the Chris Steel episode from last year he was planning on getting hit by transfers

That’s more than what I though to be honest...I know all year that was a position they were hurting in badly

Sewell just signed to oregon

Also @chargervol fwiw if you ONLY count the signed players our average rating (including Albright) is .8924 instead of the .8886 247 shows when counting Miller/Williamson.

I think USC is top heavy and they benefit greatly from that playing time bitch that Butch used for a few classes. Helps that prior to this season Muschamp had made 3 straight bowl appearances and they've had some guys get drafted. I think he has to do better than 500 this year though to stay relevant.

Burch & Doty both right there in SC was huge for that class this year. And them being able to snag Lloyd as well, but they only have 6 prospects .9000 or higher, we've got 7 and are still in on quite a few more.

This has been a very big day IMO. They have signed real football players - not show ponies. Physical guys, speed guys. Playmakers in each position group. Guys that don't quit on plays who have good upside that can be really developed, which is the staff's strong suit. The staff had plenty of time as a group to analyze and build relationships. It shows. This bunch is sold out on being Vols.

Yep. I mean, I'm good with Albright but a lot of folks saying meh, on the score.

Think most would admit Pruitt could've dropped Will and gotten Grimes if he wanted. Would've changed our score for sure but for what purpose.

My post wasn’t a slight on our class, or our coaches.

I’m simply wondering how uscjr is able to put together such a good class with zero momentum on the field and seemingly a lame duck coach. Even without Burch their class is strong.

Their situation is a stark contrast to ours.

I think it speaks volumes to how much spurrier did for SC and building their program and more importantly their budget. Even with dumbass at the helm it is recruiting at a high level. That’s why i was so happy when they kept muschamp. With the right coach, i think they could get really good really quick.

Y’all may disagree with me but to me SC is our biggest rival right now Bc were both chasing UF and UGA and even tho we aren’t hitting the Carolinas as hard now, we’re recruiting the same tier athletes. That game between us is always so important now.
