Their offense has been bad since Muschamp has been there, and this will be his 3rd OC. Bobo isn't going to "fix" what's wrong there. It's the Muschamp pattern.

At Florida
7-6 "first year, but he got us to the bowl"
11-2 "second year bump from his influx of talent in recruiting (which he's very good at)"
4-8 "third year WTF moment"
6-5 "back to 500"

At USC
6-7 "first year, but he got us to a bowl"
9-4 "second year bump from new talent!"
7-6 "bowl game...next year is our year!"
4-8 "wtf..."

The only difference is USC has more patience and he benefited those first years from TN being down.
This time he hired a proven OC with a lot of experience in the SEC. he hasn’t done that with any of his other hires for some reason

You seen their 2020 schedule?

Coastal Carolina
East Carolina
Missouri
@ Kentucky
@ Florida
Tennessee
BYE
A&M
@ Vandy
Georgia
@ LSU
Wofford
@ Clemson

If they ain't playing better 4-8 might happen again, they only got their this season with an upset @ Georgia...

I think the best that USCjr could expect next year would be 6-6. Thats the best. I predict they will go 5-7 and could possibly lose against Vandy, ECU, or even Wofford.
Coastal Carolina - W
East Carolina - W
Missouri - W
@ Kentucky - L
@ Florida - L
Tennessee - L

You're giving Bobo too much credit, he just fired a very good OC and made him out to be his scapegoat (did this at Florida 3 times as well). You already touched on this season's biggest issue, injuries.

McClendon was not a good OC. I’m not saying bobo is a god but he’s going to save muschamp’s job and make SC a tough game to win

Woke up at 7 am today, absolutely excited about signing day, like it was Christmas morning. Then I get a phone call telling my that my wife is in the ER, and everything changed. Didn't care about recruiting, didn't care about football, only cared about getting to the hospital. Things like that put this in perspective. Love on your family, your wife and your children.

Thankfully, it appears that this is nothing serious. I want to thank you guys for praying for my wife and I. We'll see what further tests show, but thus far blood work and ct scan show that everything looks normal. So I am very thankful on this day. Thankful for my wife's health, and thankful for you guys. I don't know your names, but I consider you guys my friends.

That dude has been fired like 10 times it seems. Idk why they hired him. Just goes back to colleges killing themself trying to find a perfect “fit” and a “Miami guy” as opposed to just a damn good football coach.

Beats me too. Canes would have done better to bring back Butch Davis before Manny. Manny is Cuban and his father Manny Sr was well liked as former mayor of Miami-Dade for many years.

I think Miami biggest downfall is years ago back in the 80's and 90's and even early 2000's all the talent in South Florida stayed and signed with Miami only mainly with a few not many getting away to Florida State and a couple to Florida. Now you got Bama, Georgia, LSU, Ohio State, Michigan and others coming in and recruiting and poaching South Florida talent and getting top talent out of South Florida now so Miami isn't getting the cream of the crop anymore like they used to do plus the 5 or 6 or maybe 7 win seasons isn't helping Miami cause either.

Firmly in the top 15 on 24/7 & Rivals with Morven.

Very good day and still potential to close very strong with the last 4-6 recruits for February.

Washington, Clowney, Hardy, Beckwith, Henderson, etc.
Rivals hadn't updated when i checked a few minutes ago, but i'd bet we're back at 10 there. solid 15 on 247.

good freakin' day.

GBO.

I see 5 wins on their schedule. The first 3, Vandy and Wofford.
