the luxury will be that if we have freshmen see the field this year it's gonna be because they're ready, capable and actually able to contribute.Agree there's no need, but it's a great luxury to have. Gives freshman a beneficial headstart
Pruitt has also said he doesn't push players to EE so maybe he doesn't think it's as important as we make it out to be. It was super important to Butch because he needed them to replace attrition every year. Not sure, but even the coaches have extolled the benefits of being an EE so I'm not sure how anyone can argue it's a bad thing.
situation dictates. i think he would have liked to have a bevvy of them the last two years. this year....like you said, it's not an absolute necessity....finally.Pruitt has also said he doesn't push players to EE so maybe he doesn't think it's as important as we make it out to be. I'm pretty sure there will be additional roster changes between now and the start of fall camp 2020 but this is where we look to be right now for next year. This assumes no scholarships are presently available for walk-ons, even if they were awarded one for the 2019 season. Blue highlight is composite 4-star, green highlight is 5-star.

If you just look at blue chip recruits we are within 3 of every one of those teams except Clemson and bama.View attachment 247567Guys, this is very telling on where we are going to be in a couple years. Three out of these 9 teams are in the playoffs, and the others(including Oregon who isn’t pictured) were a combined 57-16 this season. The only other team with the same record as us in the top 10 is A&M. We are already recruiting with the big boys, and we are still not at our best as a program. Not far off, but still not there. This is so telling to me about our coaches and recruiters, because to be up there in the rankings with these elite teams is outstanding! Next year if we improve 2 games to be 9-3 going into a bowl game, and then 2 more games in 2021 season to be 11-1 we are there guys. I truly think that’s attainable in the next 2 years, because when 9-3 was attainable in year 2 for Pruitt then in year three it definitely is with all the weapons and leadership we have returning.
I think Blakely contributed a decent amount. Didn’t he tackle Bowden at the goal line?Pretty damn close to all Pruitt guys. If we're sitting at 85 with just 21 signed then I expect additional movement as well.
I don't expect we enter Fall camp with all 5 of those QBs on the team, and then T. Smith most likely enters the draft.
Folks that could graduate (or have) that might grad transfer after Spring Camp pecking order is decided:
DB: Shamburger - Jr
DB: George Jr. - RS-Jr
DB: Labruzza - RS-So
QB: Guarantano - RS-Jr (already graduated)
OL: Jahmir - RS-Jr
OL: Locklear - Jr
LB: Allen - RS-Jr (has entered the portal once before)
DL: Blakely - RS-Jr
RB: Chandler - Jr
RB: Jordan - Jr
Not saying any of them will, and there's quite a few RS-Sophomores too on the team, I can see another 4-6 spots opening up. I've bolded the names I think are likely to leave.
I was completely done with that clown when we lost to fla in 2015. Up 13 in the 4th and lose b/c couldn't stop them on several 4 and longsYeah, too bad we had about 30 season ending injuries by game 3 that year. Man that was a really good roster. After the Mizzou game that year is when I was out on butch. If we'd have let him go that offseason we would've been so much better off.
35-14, VolsI hate to be overly confident especially when it comes to our team but I can’t help but think we are going to smash the ever loving piss out of Indiana. Perhaps they are better than I am thinking but some of these 37-34 predictions by ESPN surprise me considering our defensive play to end the season. I just think our team is ready will put it in them bad with this staff having this long to prepare for an opponent and not worried about holding stuff back for future opponent like Ga st. We will have a full playbook to throw at them.

Maybe I have the wrong year
We destroyed Mizzu the year I am talking about
Lost to Vandy to cost us the sugar bowl. Was that not 16?
