Pretty damn close to all Pruitt guys. If we're sitting at 85 with just 21 signed then I expect additional movement as well.

I don't expect we enter Fall camp with all 5 of those QBs on the team, and then T. Smith most likely enters the draft.

Folks that could graduate (or have) that might grad transfer after Spring Camp pecking order is decided:
DB: Shamburger - Jr
DB: George Jr. - RS-Jr
DB: Labruzza - RS-So
QB: Guarantano - RS-Jr (already graduated)
OL: Jahmir - RS-Jr
OL: Locklear - Jr
LB: Allen - RS-Jr (has entered the portal once before)
DL: Blakely - RS-Jr
RB: Chandler - Jr
RB: Jordan - Jr

Not saying any of them will, and there's quite a few RS-Sophomores too on the team, I can see another 4-6 spots opening up. I've bolded the names I think are likely to leave.
Hope Blakely does not leave. He improved game by game and played well

Maybe I have the wrong year

We destroyed Mizzu the year I am talking about

Lost to Vandy to cost us the sugar bowl. Was that not 16?
2016: UT 63 Mizzou 37

Think Sleegro was talking about the 2015 season, we beat Missouri, but it was 19-8 in a terrible game. He entered 2016 with a loaded roster and under-performed.

2015 was the surprising 9-4 season, we should have beaten Florida & Arkansas and won the East...then returned nearly everything and managed to beat Florida and Georgia but lose the East.

I think 2016 @ South Carolina was when I was done with Butch completely.
Yeah sorry I meant south Carolina 2016 not Missouri.

Not really, though. The bulk of his PT/Production came against UTC & UAB, and he made that Bowden stop against Kentucky (his only tackle that game).

I don't have anything against the guy or anything, and he appeared in 3 of our November games. He's just not going to break the 2 deep and he may want to have a season of playing more before finishing college.

His performance last season...after being yo-yo’d from defense to offense and back in two different schemes...was very underrated. Everybody gets hung up on tackles and other stats, but a 3-4 DL’s primary responsibility is to create push and occupy blockers...and he did so very well AFTER several body transformations over 4 seasons on campus. Doubt he jumps ship after working so hard to get where he’s at on the roster.

Oh for cryin out loud..Rivers has had a longtime great career...jeez man..

Don't even take the bait man!

Rivers is that QB that was unfortunate enough to play during the "GOATs Era" (Brady, Peyton, Brees, Favre, Rodgers). He'll be a first ballot HOF.

His career numbers speak for themselves:
6th in career passing yards
6th in career passing TDs
7th in career passing completions
10th in career passer rating
30th in career passing interceptions (lower is better). Thrown less than Favre, Brees, Elway, Peyton, Eli, Unitas, Marino)
11th in career passing YPG
10th in career passing completion % (better than Brady, Favre, Young, Montana)

Rivers & Marino will likely be argued about as the greatest QB to never win a SB once he's retired.

Most of yer points are valid but Rivers does not belong anywhere near the Marino category.

and he did all that with the worst throwing motion in NFL history.

Also Rivers is just 38 and has only played 14 seasons. He sat behind Brees his first 2 years.

So his career numbers are more impressive considering how many seasons the 5 guys ahead of him played.

Brees - 18 (so far)
Brady - 18 (so far)
Peyton - 17
Favre - 19
Marino - 16 (even excluded the season he only played in 5 games)

So yeah, if he plays 4 more seasons with his current averages... of 4100 passing yards & 28 TDs he could end his career top 3 in yards, top 5 in TDs, top 5 in completions.

I think he's a whining little bish, but he's an elite QB. We as fans have been spoiled by the talent in the NFL at that positions the last 10-15 years. I can't believe I've been able to watch the number of greats I have honestly.

he also has 24 kids

I think the era of football Marino played in makes his first 8 seasons impressive, but his sharp decline once the league "caught up" to him even out things imo.

In their prime if I was to build a team ground up, I'd take Marino without question. But if you told me whoever I picked was the guy for 16 seasons? I'd take Rivers. His durability and consistency are unrivaled. 14 seasons as the starter, has not missed a single game, has not thrown for less than 20 TDs in a season and has not thrown for less than 3100 yards in a season. Never threw more than 21 INTs (so far) in a season either.

He's more of a Favre "gunslinger" type, except he's more accurate and takes better care of the ball.

He's not in my top 5 or anything, but Rivers is a great QB at worse, and elite by the numbers to most.

Made me think of another question though. In the modern era, passing qbs since the late 40s, there are 26 qbs in the HoF. I think there are maybe a third that amount either recently retired or still playing that may get in. What do y'all think.

Definite

Peyton
Brady
Brees
Rodgers

Probably

Eli
Cam
Rivers
Big Ben
Russell

Maybe

Ryan
Stafford
Luck if he'd've kept playing

I probably have too many and may have left some off. There's a bunch in this next waive but I cut off at around Russell's age cause didn't want to go too young. But I could definitely see 9 of those getting in.

Rivers in college was also a beast. 4 year starter with 13484 career yards and 95 TDs to just 34 INTs...at freaking NC State, also their only 10+ win season in school history as a junior.

Again, I want nothing more than to sock him in his whiny pouting face anytime I see him on Sundays. But I would have helped pack Marcus' U-Haul when the rumors last off-season were Rivers to the Titans.

I hate to be overly confident especially when it comes to our team but I can’t help but think we are going to smash the ever loving piss out of Indiana. Perhaps they are better than I am thinking but some of these 37-34 predictions by ESPN surprise me considering our defensive play to end the season. I just think our team is ready will put it in them bad with this staff having this long to prepare for an opponent and not worried about holding stuff back for future opponent like Ga st. We will have a full playbook to throw at them.
Yes sir! We will overwhelm them with our strength and speed. It will be a dominating performance to finish the season with 6 wins in a row.

Rivers is closer to Matt Ryan than Dan Marino. And as for Marino's steep decline, he had what 2 bad seasons and both were because he didn't play the whole season due to injury.
