On a positive note, defense came to play today.

They didn't have anyone play above their ranking this year though. Their defense looked good this year against bad offenses. They got absolutely smoked once they played an elite offense.

Well there hasn’t been anyone that LSU hasn’t or won’t smoke. Every other team UGA played, they pretty much shut down. FWIW I think Pruitt will be a better head coach than Kirby once he’s established.

No, we just need comparable talent, our coaches to continue to develop them, once they're on campus, and attrition to stay low.

Yeah, I'd obviously like to have the number 1 class every year but, I trust our staff over 247, Rivals, and (especially) ESPN.

Coaching, continuity, and development have a greater influence on a team than a fat asses opinion over a kids potential.

I am optimistic that we catch up to Georgia soon (quicker than Florida btw) because of their inability to cash in on their talent. After all, they’ve killed recruiting ranking since Kirby arrived, but we hear excuses for the holes in their roster. Hogwash! They suck as coaches and developers and WE WILL CATCH THEM AND WE WILL BEAT THEM!

They don't play anybody, that's part of the reason they got to near the top. Then they were able to recruit much better based on that success of easy schedules (minus the playoffs)
