LSU didn't smoke Bama, UF or Auburn like they did UGA....Texas neither.

UGA played them worse than 4-5 other teams on their schedule. Maybe it was just a bad matchup but LSU took the strongest parts of their team(defense and OL) behind the woodshed.

You’re right, but once they got to the playoffs, they’ve been able to 2x beat Bama and they killed a Ohio St team that had much better overall recruiting classes on paper.

Coaching continuity and the addition of Venebles was IMO what put them over the top. I just think that the differences in these classes are miniscule and we make much more of these rankings than what the reality is.

One thing I cannot do at this point is question this staff's eval's, question the type of player they're going after, and quality. I agree rankings wise its good, not great. True measure won't come till next season.

I would also like to add that my faith in recruiting services has dropped markedly. I dont know much about evaluating foosball players, but, even I can see some of our guys should be rated higher.

Meh. He's a first time head coach who went 9-7, made the playoffs, and won their wild card game in his first season with an injured starting QB. In his second season he benched his starter and has worked his team back into position to make the playoffs again.

So, I'm not exactly sure how you can claim he isn't good with both a small sample size and more success than the franchise has seen in many years. But, that's your opinion I guess..

We really need to win one of the Florida or Oklahoma games and I feel that would set the tone for the season and possibly propel us to 9-3.

Good thing about Pruitt is he is helping instill a winning attitude and will not go into those games afraid to lose.

Depends on QB play. If it’s JG probably 7 or 8. If bailey is ready we could pull off 10

I’m torn on this because i agree, but I also think recruiting rankings can be a joke. Let’s hope our “average ranked” guys end up being the football players our coaches think they will be. If we start winning again the Tennessee bump will be a thing for the star gazers.

I mean they put 46 on the board in Tuscaloosa. Given that Saban has only given up 40+ like four or five times since he’s been at Alabama, I think that’s pretty impressive. Put 42 on Florida. Auburn played them tougher than anyone. My point is that UGA has an upper tier defense. Bringing up the fact that LSU ran them in Atlanta doesn’t mean much. They’ve raped everyone they’ve played other than Auburn.
