Its a systemic problem that radiates from the top is my point, all the way down to the players. There isn't one shred of evidence, especially when compared to peers in conference, that this university has cared...really cared...about winning championships. If the boss doesn't care, eventually neither will the workers.

I will admit I don't have experience with big time athletics, but I do have experience with big time organizations from a top level, and that is absolutely the case.

Hate for him, truly do. But, I think Pruitt probably gave the young man a choice and he picked the wrong door, IMO.

I think it’s clear he was in trouble before the tweets. It just isn’t about that imo

Also, I'm sick of fans catching blame. It's bogus. All we can do is show up, support, buy tickets, and cheer. For the most part, we have done our part with absolutely no reason to do so. The university, administration, coaches, and players haven't. Nobody did on Saturday, that is 100% true.

We will be around no matter what and suffer through it because we are fans and that's what we do. But don't insult and cast blame on us while we do it.

Just because you fell on hard times doesn’t give you the right to act stupid. Would he do that to his employer if he worked for them. Same concept. Life lesson needed. Hopefully he goes somewhere and learns from his previous mistakes. But that cancer is not needed at UT.

and while it is a sad story, he had a gigantic opportunity to do something else with his life.

at some point, it comes down to choices.

Oh you can bet that he is. As soon as they showered on Saturday they had mandatory position meetings to basically ridicule play and teach.

Some trust issues with the holdovers which I think is going to make for a long fall.

These kids put sooo much time and energy into this program. It’s very naive for anyone to think they don’t care about winning because someone behind a desk hasn’t cleared the path to winning to our liking

Missing our best player from every level hurt us for sure. Bituli is a 2x tackle leader for us. He and Gooden would have put a wrap on that team imo. Gooden is by far our best DL and is disruptive (best way to beat the option is to blow it right up) and Bituli can get side to side. We missed our playmakers badly.
