It should be reciprocated....I work in a University as well, and I will say that some PI's don't think rules apply to them. I try to tell them that rules are there for a reason, not merely as a suggestion. I will say that sometimes the rules appear to be suggestions if the PI's bring in enough research money.

Guys, I lost my cat Smokey yesterday. I know most of you are probably dog guys, and I was too, but he became my best friend. We'd watch every game together and drink coffee on the porch every morning. I am absolutely crushed. This is how he'd watch the games with me View attachment 256920

I was always a dog guy too, still am, but I have my little GiddyMonster (rescue cat) that is completely "Daddy's boy." Sits in my lap, like to rub on me and sleeps on my legs. I'm sorry for your loss. The little fur babies become part of the family.

When my oldest was about 4 months old, I had her all dressed in her UT onesie and down for a nap. I was sitting down to watch a UT game when she started crying. I went to check on her and she had pooped so much, it had gone up back and come out the top of her onesie. It was everywhere, including her hair. Since her mother wasn't home, I changed her and cleaned her up.... at halftime.

I was pulled over for speeding on a country road - going 25 over the speed limit. The officer walked up to the car and kinda wrinkled his nose. He leaned into the window, and my friend pointed to the backseat. He took one look at my 13 month old son and the poo oozing out of his car seat, then waved me on.

I didn’t bring enough diapers that day...

South Carolina fans are pretty pissed on their boards. Lots of their recruits fell pretty significantly in the rankings. If Burch flips to LSU they'll have a pretty disappointing class.

I don't work at a university, but at a non-profit doing genetic research with PIs. That's universal. I even had one tell me "it's part of our job as a scientist to not believe in rules. If we all followed the rules, how would we innovate." Being in legal and compliance, I just stare blankly and shake my head.

totally agree. Not BJ's fault. Our staff couldn't find a way to overcome the allure of LSU, for him at least.
