Every pass by Kyle Trask in 2019:


Overall, Mullen clearly has a lot of confidence in him. He came in and threw 13 times in 1 quarter with the game on the line. He has 18 pass attempts so far and I'd say 3-4 of them quite easily could have been intercepted. But he throws accurately otherwise. Seems to be a bit like JG in that regard. Nice ball delivery, but decision making leaves something to be desired.

Of course he's got confidence in him. Trask is obviously Chris Leak since Jones is Tebow.

A few "ifs" and UT is 3-0.

They didnt happen in either case.

Could see them all moving along. Nieds is less likely, but he might get a big bump to move somewhere else.

Depends on how this season goes, I think.

At the end of this season our own coaching movement will tell us all we need to know about Pruitt’s future here.

If coaches leave and we’re able to find equal or better replacements then all is well.

If they start jumping ship and get replaced by “less thans” then the writing is on the wall.

Did I hear correctly on the VQ podcast that the TD pass to Tillman was supposed to be a 3 step drop when JG took 5 steps? How TF are you still making that mistake in your 4th year. I would think that should be committed to muscle memory where you do it without thinking.

VQ guys screwed that comment up. It was actually from a CJP statement during his coaches TV show. Pruitt said "We should probably run that play on a 5 step drop instead of 7 to get the pass off quicker". He didn't say if "JG ran the play wrong" or "the play design was wrong".

Pruitt said he would have liked that to come out on the 5th step. Not the 7th.

Thanks for the clarification. Serves me right for taking VQ at face value. This is a lot more comforting than what I was thinking.

I was responding to Trask not making mistakes. He did. Not about the outcome, it's about the process. Mistakes are mistakes regardless of outcome.

This is so true. We love the coaches from other teams. We assume they'd win enough here even though hey haven't at other places. And we ignore their quirks now, but would quickly get tired of them here.

I'd never get tired of Leech's humor and quirkiness. I may get tired of his losing, but not his wit.

I think JG got so used to instapressure he's habitually dropping too far sometimes. But he also needs to move with more urgency. I swear he trots during his PA motions. Gotta move with quick twitch.

JG is the key. He has to see the field better. My prediction for a Vols upset depends on him getting it together. If he doesn’t we’ll get our tails whipped. Again. Dang I just want a QB we can depend on.

Getting Ty and Gray more involved in the passing game would go a long way in helping JG IMO. To this point they haven’t, hopefully that changes.

For the life of me I still don’t know how he is considered a dual threat QB. That being said there is no telling what is going through his head. He has taken A LOT of hits the last few years. I know I would be gun shy after all that.

I agree with this. Everyone thought, including the team, that it was impossible for GA St to leave Neyland with a win. Why is it so inconceivable that we leave Florida with a win. Georgia and Bama ok. I'll give you those. I really haven't seen much from Florida that scares me. JMO

It's been like that more this year. Here's the cycle:
Sunday (after the game): everyone is mad at JG and CJP in chorus

Monday: your opinion is stupid I'm the poster that has the answer. I'm putting everyone on ignore

Tuesday: I'm not going to the game this week. Team sucks and administration doesn't care

Wednesday: Ya know I was looking at the stats if a,b, and c happen we might luck into a win

Thursday: What's everyone thinking? Win or nah?

Friday: Picked out my favorite shirt for the game this week. Man I love you guys/ gals

Finally got around to watching the parts of the utc game I missed on Saturday. I don’t think our OL looked nearly as good as they did vs BYU. The change of positions/players doesn’t excite me after watching it closely. The run game wasn’t as good as it needs to be and I thought I was very good vs BYU
