Yes. Our DL would look way different right now had we been able to land Ray and then Eboigbe last year . They’d be legends here. Instead their just another number at Bama where most fans probably don’t even know their namesI thought for a minute UT was gonna sign Ray. He'd fill a huge need right about now
Fellas, help me out some. Wife and I haven't been to Neyland since probably 2013 because of med school and residency and our little man. We are finally gonna make it back to Knoxville for the MSU game. What's the best way to grab tickets? We want to get some good, lower level seats if possible even if we have to pay a little more. Is there a lot of scalping options or try craigslist? UTSports has some decent seats in E, but I'd like to be on the north side if possible
With all due respect, I believe Henry T. is the less common exception, not the rule. JJP has time yet to mature.
Braves are determined to not go into the playoffs well.
So, you admit it's impossible to know how Pruitt's class will play out immediately after you say Butch out-recruited him? And, you really wonder why people think you have an agenda?I’m just going by numbers - it’s impossible to know how Pruitt’s classes play out.
I think recruiting amongst the two staffs have been largely on the same level. Butch had the legacy class which really helped him.
That first recruiting class of Kiffin's panned out really well. We also got our ass kicked by Ole Miss and Virginia Tech and lost games to Auburn and UCLA we should not have. He can stay far, far away.Kiffin was only a disaster by his exit...he’s still the only coach that gave us the biggest positive in his first year moving forward..you all can hate the guy..but he generated a lot of hype for this university that was getting a lot of national attention by fans and recruits.outside of the Sh*t heads he was signing (nu'keese richardson) among others.Kiffin had top 50 talent coming here even the number 1 overall..if he would have stayed I think he would have Got the job done contending for something big here..or maybe in the NCAA dog house Who knows..but what I do know is he obviously loves it here and regrets leaving because we are all he talks about anymore.

With the prerequisite “He’s just a freshman” out of the way, I’d say a player as highly rated at he was is supposed to contribute immediately, especially at a position of tremendous need. In fact, I believe the recruiting services define their star system by the expected readiness to contribute.
There are plenty of players we patiently wait to develop year after year who never get there. It doesn’t make a fan a bad fan to think a certain guy may never get it.
I completely understand he has three and a half years to change the narrative. Without dogging the player, I personally don’t think he will. Maybe he will
At End of the day...we went 7-5,when was was heavily doubted the whole pre season because of Crompton and the lack of recruiting by fulmer.
Can’t give you lack of recruiting. He literally had a NFL player at every level on both sides of the ball. (*not sure how Rico McCoy never made it but i would consider him nfl) and also the 2nd best defensive player to ever play at this University.
Player was not better than Doug Atkins or Reggie White (could also consider guys like Steve Kiner and Hacksaw Reynolds). Great player yes but not 2nd (imo)Can’t give you lack of recruiting. So everyone can get the “First year head coach pass” but not kiffin?..lol how many coaches have we let start out here at “year zero”..Rico was hurt...hardesty was on his last leg...new systems on both sides of the ball and the defense learning of the infamous “Tampa 2” from the original founder..I’m sure it was a huge change overall..no matter who he had..Butch had all of the weapons in the world..but lost to Oklahoma..bama..Florida I mean it goes on...no need to hold the grudge on him for a life time.he was young.
