Schiano is old news. Why waste any emotion on people who still want to defend him? He did an excellent job at Rutgers. He's still considered to be special up there and, after all, no one has done as well there either before or after. So let him have Rutgers and let's see if he can do as well inside the Big Ten as he did in the Big East.

But he will forever be tainted by the Penn State connection and more importantly he will be remembered for the terrible job he did at Tampa Bay. Most significantly, when Ohio State was looking for its next head coach, he wasn't even considered in favor of someone who had not been a head coach or even a coordinator.

Those of us who love the Big Orange know that he was not worthy of walking on the same field as the General. Wyatt (before alcoholism got him), Dickey (although I hate to say that about any Florida guy), Majors and Fulmer, all earned the right. That's where Dooley and Jones failed and it's why he would've failed. Enough said.

But with how recruiting is going lately, anyone else wonder if just maybe just maybe that tall tight end named Washington (remember him?) is regretting his decision? Gonna suck for him to lose to the Vols four years straight. And prob get owned every down by those two 5 star OLBs.

Our class last year was just as good. Not sure this class (so far) would change anything.

Has this actually speeded up play? Would think with only one to a cart and no flag removal.

There's always slow players on the course. For my group, we play in 3 1/2 hours all the time but we're the first group out. It does speed up play on the greens though.
