Nerd moment.

That is what I call an odd attempt at chicanes, which is for traffic calming. I’m not a fan. It’s destined to get beat up, abused, and eventually removed. And besides, it won’t really calm traffic that well.

I go for the speed humps in residential neighborhoods (obligatory TWSS). They work better at slowing the traffic and work consistently. Something like this oughta do:

Same here. Pretty sure there's been a package at the door everyday. It's mostly been clothes for our rapidly growing 5yr old so I can't be to mad. She also let me get a new truck so I have no leg to stand on, though I'm expecting to come home to a new dog any day now.

Man that sounds like the next country music hit lol.
 
Thank you for sharing this crucially important info. Vitamin D is very cheap and easy to get even if you don't want to be out in the sun.

You can take too much vitamin D, so please be careful.It’s a fat soluble vitamin, so excess is stored in your fat cells. Unlike the water soluble vitamins like C which is excreted in your urine with excessive dosing.
Take 1k-2k units daily and you will get plenty, but not get near toxicity.

It‘s pretty hard to get intoxicated if you are over 50 doc. Unless you are spending a lot of time in the sun, 1k-2k most likely won’t get you to an optimum blood level of at least 50ng/ml, and preferably 60ng/ml. The right answer is to test, of course, but if over 50 I would (and do) take at least 5k. I know of nobody taking 5k that‘s gotten intoxicated, although they may exist if younger and/or getting lots of sun.

5k per day can reach toxic doses if you aren’t careful. I just wouldn’t stay at 5k for more than a month. Drop down to 1k-2k daily after you have reached normal levels for maintenance. Happens to kids most frequently.
For adults, it builds up in our fat cells. With any significant/rapid weight loss ie Bassmaster, that’s when toxicity occurs.
You can take that much if weight loss isn’t a plan or if you just intend to get fatter 🤠

By the way, mine serum levels are in the correct range with 2k per day. I drink a couple glasses of milk per day. Not too much sunlight due to @ 50 basal cell cancers. I really quit counting at 40, but have a new batch that I need to treat now. High spf and sun shirts for me. 😎
