One last stat post for the day (no promises).

Made a lengthy post and chart sometime at the end of last year after all the FFers were saying JG was merely dumping off passes and never threw down field. I only had completions to go off at the time, but showed his % of completions downfield were significant and top-5 in the league for most yard ranges (10+, 20+, etc).

Now I can see Average Depth of Target (ADOT) and it supports last year's post and showing some of the anti-JGers over there were biasing their memories toward the negative, rather than basing opinions off of facts. JG was indeed 3rd in the league last year in ADOT and a mere .62 yards behind the deepest average thrower.

Well, we were bombarded again this year by people again saying he's merely dumping off a bunch of short throws to "up his completion percentage"...as if NFL scouts blindly look at completion percentage, rather than, well...almost everything else, nor see air in yards correlated to comp%, etc...anyway...once again to their dismay I am sure, JG is near the top of the league, currently 4th, with nearly 1 yard deeper throws than last year, to this point.
