Had asked yesterday if they had figured out if COVID could be contracted a 2nd time, since some reports out of SK showed it may have been recurring in some people. Luckily, it seemed to not be the case.

Omg. That was the worst game.. gameday was there, late kickoff. I spent a ton of money on tix and hotel. Didnt go to another game till Florida 14'..... yea, and haven't been since to neyland..depressing

Pretty new to the board so I’m behind on who is who on here!

Recruiting is a very fluid thing and we've grown through the years to learn which posters bring the best information...depending on the subject. For example...when you hear about DN, and don't have a clue what is being talked about...ask Gucci. I think everyone will agree that Gucci is the DN expert on the board. Just one example.

We should be able to run the football with our OL against their DL. Even tho we lost our 2 best, we still have experience at receiver with Palmer and Keyton with talent behind them in Gibbs, Tillman, and the freshmen. Our defense should be improved, especially on the DL. and you know that Pruitt will be dialing up blitzes you get to Rattler. Man, we can beat them if we get anything out of QB.

I agree. I worry about rattler extending plays more than anything. From what highlights there are of him it seems like he’s pretty good at moving and keeping his eyes down the field

And that’s where it pays off to have good man-cover corners and linebackers with speed and a killer instinct.

Thompson and To’o To’o in particular are going to help us a ton with that type of QB.

I was so hyped up for it. Bought tickets last minute because I was just SURE the Vols were going to end the streak. Drove over from Nashville, got drunk as hell pre-game on Cumberland, then immediately sobered up when Trey Burton broke that run. The drive back was miserable.

Thompson and To’o To’o in particular are going to help us a ton with that type of QB.

I think BT will be fine, in my opinion one of the main X factors on our defense is Alontae Taylor. Need him to take a big leap this year

Yeah it could be a frustrating one. Going to have to snap and clear a lot that game because you just know he'll pull off some plays and Riley will get his. Have to stay withing striking distance and make our own breaks. Pruitt will gamble a time or 2 imo. He's not going to sit back and just lose it like Butch would.

What sucks is they have more overall talent than last time we saw them. They had a team talent ranking of #16 in 2015. Now they are top 10. But I'll take my chances against Rattler over a young Mayfield.

I think Tillman and Keyton have mad potential at WR. I absolutely love Wideman, too. I think Malachi will be an All-SEC Frosh and a future pro. In fact, I think if Wideman concentrated on basketball, he could play his way into a draft pick there, also.

Yeah, everything rides on QB play this year. We take the next step, lock down a top 8 recruiting class, finish top 12 in the polls, with a 3rd team, all-SEC QB, this year, whoever it is. I know 3rd team is random, but I'm serious. We get that, 9-3, maybe sneak into the SEC Championship game and the corner is turned, look out SEC and all of college football. We got it right this time with Coach Pruitt

Toots is hopefully working on his pass coverage right now. That was his main weakness and their quick RPO plays are going to stress him a lot. It will be a major test for him.

While I usually vote against such a strategy, I could see us going ball control and killing the clock. Keep their O off the field and lean on our massive OL. If we can shorten the game and keep it under 30 points, it looks more possible.

Ashlee just came inside 10 minutes ago, after playing with her sisters outside for what must have been the last 5 or 6 hours. It's hard to imagine sometimes just how far she's come.

VolNation played a big part in keeping my sanity during that time and, thanks to @volatil, the staff at STR, @Atlanta VOL, and countless others on this site, we were able to get through it financially.

I haven't forgotten. I never will. We have tried to pay it forward at every opportunity. You all just don't know what affect the generosity and kindness of strangers had on our family...

And it’s significant that Rattler simply hasn’t played much football since he was suspended at the end of his senior season. Practically no offseason isn’t ideal for getting a first time starter up to speed.
